Parcisa looks to a promising future in the tank vehicle sector

Parcisa’s sales and marketing director shared an optimistic view of the future of the company and the tank vehicle sector in Spain. ‘We will enjoy a few years of strong growth,’ he said, highlighting the opportunities that regulatory changes and new market trends will bring.

    Market developments

The tank vehicle market has undergone significant changes in 2024. The possible implementation of the increase in the maximum authorised mass from 40 to 44 tonnes, scheduled for early 2025, will mark a turning point in the design of these vehicles, shifting them towards greater payload optimisation. In addition, the difficulty in finding qualified professionals has prompted the exploration of new logistics solutions, such as the use of Euro-modular vehicles.

    Transition to alternative fuels

Parcisa is adapting to the sustainability demands of the market. The director emphasised that the company not only focuses on fossil fuel transport, but also develops solutions to facilitate transport logistics, with the firm objective of minimising CO2 emissions.

    Commitment to innovation and quality

Customers value Parcisa highly for the safety, load capacity, durability, customisation and quality of its tanks. These achievements are the result of the constant work of the R&D&I department, which continuously develops new prototypes. The company distinguishes itself by offering innovative, customised and efficiency-oriented solutions.

    Adapting to regulatory changes

Parcisa is attentive to new regulations that will require vehicles that are not only efficient, but also capable of actively contributing to sustainable logistics. The company is working to ensure that its products reduce their environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle.

    Growth prospects

After three consecutive years of positive results and in the face of steady demand on the Iberian Peninsula, Parcisa foresees a period of strong growth. Fleet renewal and regulatory changes are key factors that will drive this expansion, an achievement that the company wishes to celebrate with its customers.
