    Parcisa presents its milk tankers at an industry event in the Netherlands

    On Saturday 17 May, Parcisa had the opportunity to participate, together with its partner MCT, in a professional day in the Netherlands focused on the presentation of our tanks for the collection and transport of milk.

    The event brought together representatives from around 25 companies in the dairy sector, consolidating itself as an ideal space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as to highlight our joint commitment to innovation, efficiency and quality in the transport of food products.

    The day included a full agenda that included:

    • Reception and welcome to the attending transporters.
    • Presentation of the joint project between MCT and Parcisa.
    • Visit to the MCT facilities.
    • Intervention of the TLN association (Transport Logistiek Nederland).
    • A final barbecue that served to strengthen the network of contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.

    Parcisa is grateful for the attendance and the interest shown by all the participants, and we continue to make firm progress towards a more efficient, safe and committed transport with the needs of the dairy sector.

    Parcisa delivers a new Duotrailer for the company Sercatrans Logística, S.L.U.

    We are very pleased to show you a new Duotrailer designed and manufactured by Parcisa for the collection and transport of food products. In this case, it is destined to our friends of SERCATRANS LOGISTICA 2000, S.L.U., a company from Huelva with great experience in the transport of food liquids.

    These are 2 self-supporting tanks, made of ISO-304 quality stainless steel, each with a total capacity of 31,000 litres divided into 4 compartments.

    These two units are hooked up to a Lecitrailer Dolly with a single axle. This type of vehicle has certain advantages such as:

    • Reduction of CO2 emissions as a priority set by the EU, an objective achieved by their large load capacity.
    • Solution to the lack of professional drivers in the transport sector.
    • Flexibility in transport, working together or separately, just like a road train.
    • Digitalisation and safety, enabling improvements in their operations and profitability.

    Parcisa and the introduction of the 44 tonnes in transport

    At Parcisa, we are always on the lookout for new developments that impact the transport sector, and the recent introduction of 44 tonnes is no exception.

    CETM Cisternas, an association specialising in tank freight transport, has analysed how this measure affects companies in the sector, highlighting the advantages of this regulation contained in Royal Decree-Law 3/2022.

    Thanks to this modification, vehicles will be able to transport up to 27 tonnes of payload, compared to the current 24 tonnes, which means:
    ✅ Greater efficiency on each journey.
    ✅ Optimisation of resources for companies.
    Less congestion on our roads.

    The study has been carried out with the sponsorship of Parcisa, the truck manufacturer Scania, and the German multinational tyre and service company Continental.
