    Constancio Villodre, CEO of Parcisa, has given an interview to Nexotrans where he takes stock and forecasts the market.

    “In the 2023 financial year, we will end up meeting the objectives set. Not only in the domestic market, but also for our export market where we continue to grow year after year. As for the current financial year, specifically in Q1, we are achieving the targets set in the domestic market”.

    2.- Your company’s sales forecasts for 2024.
    The forecasts for this year are somewhat higher than in the previous year, and we will try to exceed 400 units.

    3.- Brief explanation of your product range.
    Parcisa has been a leader in the stainless steel semi-trailer market for years, both in the food and chemical sectors in all its variants. This allows us to satisfy all our customers, taking into account their needs.

    4.- What new developments can we expect in the short term?
    Parcisa, as a company policy, always has new projects every year. At the moment we are developing a special semi-trailer, which fits in with the Euro-modular line, with a different configuration to what the market offers. We hope to have the prototype by the end of the year. On the other hand, we have Parcisa Connet, a project together with the ZF Group where we have developed a connectivity system for the semi-trailer, which will facilitate our customer’s logistics management and improve their decision-making.

    5.- The 44 tonnes are just around the corner. Are you ready?
    Yes, absolutely. Parcisa, since the approval of 44 tonnes in our neighbouring country, France, in 2013, began to develop new designs in all its product lines, in order to make its vehicles versatile in both scenarios. Today, taking into account how the draft of this document has been developed, Parcisa can say that its vehicles will be able to adapt to the new regulations without any problems.

    6.- How does decarbonisation and the use by trucks of alternative fuels to diesel affect your company?
    We have always been sensitive to environmental issues, and before they became mandatory by law, we have been taking steps forward. We have to bear in mind that the transport vehicle does not only depend on the tractor unit, behind it there is a semi-trailer that has to be driven by a diesel engine.

    This weekend was held in the Portuguese city of Pombal the VII edition of the National Transport Exhibition of Portugal, organised by the National Association of Public Road Freight Hauliers of Portugal (ANTRAM).

    Our subsidiary in Portugal, Cisterluso Equipamentos, attended this event where drivers, entrepreneurs, suppliers and customers met, in order to present the latest developments in the sector.

    As we announced a few weeks ago. Parcisa and ZF have reached an agreement to integrate SCALAR technology into the tank vehicles. This project has been named “Parcisa connect”.

    Parcisa Connect will enable customers to remotely monitor all the tanks in their fleet, providing data and tools to help them with planning and routing, improving service time management, optimising communication with drivers, promoting environmentally friendly driving and obtaining accurate diagnostics.

    Constancio Villodre Rus, CEO of Parcisa, and Raul Fraile Carretero, on behalf of ZF, signed this agreement that will allow them to offer a better, more complete product that will be much more adapted to the needs of the customer.

    The 1st Rio Maior Business Gala honoured fifty companies from the municipality, on the evening of Wednesday 29 May, during a dinner at Quinta do Talego, in Alto da Serra.

    The Gala aimed to “recognise, value and celebrate the excellence, tenacity and vision of crucial actors of our economy, as well as highlight the outstanding trajectories, innovative practices and successes achieved by companies, businessmen and entrepreneurs who, with their effort and dedication, contribute significantly to the growth, development and sustainability of the municipality”.

    On 22, 23 and 24 May, the 19th National Congress of Transport Entrepreneurs was held in Ciudad Real, which sought to highlight the value of freight transport.
    Parcisa did not want to miss this event and we have been present in our exhibition area during the 3 days, talking and showing our new products to customers, suppliers and businessmen. 

    One of the most important innovations that we presented was the project called “Parcisa Conncet”. This is the implementation of ZF Scalar technology in our tank vehicles. This technology will allow our customers to remotely control their entire fleet, reporting a series of data and tools that will facilitate their planning and routing, improving their service time management, communication with drivers, efficiency in ecological driving and obtaining accurate diagnoses.

    In addition to the Technical Conferences, one of the main attractions of the CETM Congress is the Exhibition of Vehicles, Services and Transport Components, as it is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and transport and logistics professionals to learn about the latest developments and solutions for their businesses first hand.

    The event has been a great success, reaching 700 registrations.

    The global technology company, ZF, and the leading manufacturer of stainless steel tanks, Parcisa, have reached an agreement to integrate SCALAR fleet management telematics technology into all their semi-trailers. A technology that optimises fleet performance in real time with advanced AI, automating workflows, preventive maintenance, improved time management and other functions.


    This collaboration allows Parcisa to offer its customers a more complete product, which can be adapted to the needs of our customers. 


    To personalise this collaboration, this project will be called “Parcisa Connect”, together with the creation of its own new logo, with access through the official Parcisa website. 
    Pedro Martinez, Sales and Marketing Director of Parcisa, commented on how pleased and excited he is about this new project.


    Parcisa Connect will allow our customers to remotely control their entire fleet, reporting a series of data and tools that will facilitate their planning and routing, improving their service time management, communication with drivers, efficiency in eco-driving and obtaining accurate diagnostics.


    This new digital solution will help fleets comply with United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Regulation 141, which requires registered trailers to have TPMS from July 2024, among other things.
